The Indonesian government has positioned the2027 Macroeconomic Framework and FiscalPolicy Principles (KEM-PPKF) as the foundationfor preparing the 2027 State Budget (APBN). Thedocument is more than a technocratic instrument;it also reflects the political direction of nationaleconomic development. Under the theme “GrowHigher, Prosper Faster,” the government targetseconomic growth of 5.8–6.5 percent, a deficit of1.80–2.40 percent of gross domestic product, andstate expenditure of 13.62–14.80 percent of grossdomestic product. It also identifies food, energy,downstream processing, industrialization,education, health, infrastructure, housing, disasterresilience, the village economy, and povertyreduction as major national priorities.
